Jonathan Procter (Muaupoko, Ngai Tahu) is an Associate Professor at Massey University. Jonathan completed his PhD at Massey University in Volcanology specializing in volcanic mass flows the application of numerical simulations to inform volcanic hazard management. In the past he has led programs of research surrounding matauranga Maori and natural hazards. He currently leads the NZ National Science Challenge; Resilience to Natures Challenges, volcano research program and is active in finding new solutions to mitigate the hazards posed by our volcanoes that benefit all parts of our community.
